It's easy to apply!  Simply follow these steps:

1. Complete the online application form below and submit it for our review.  You may submit this application electronically (use submit button at the bottom of form). You will receive an email to let you know whether or not the application was properly received.  If there is any problem with electronic submission, print the form and send by FAX at (706)-542-2674, or by mail c/o REU coordinator, University of Georgia, Department of Microbiology, 527 Biological Sciences Building, Athens, GA, 30602.


2. Download a reference form (as a Word document), fill out the the top part, and then have two references, preferably professors, complete the letter of recommendation and return it directly to us at:

Participants must be undergraduates (cannot have graduated with a Bachelor's degree before the program begins) who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States or its possessions.
