Graduate student Laura Cuff and post doc KT Elliott were awarded Young Scientist Travel Grants (sponsored by FEMS and ESCMID) to attend the 8th International Symposium on the Biology of Acinetobacter (2010) in Rome, Italy. The award consists of free registration for the meeting and a contribution of 700 euros towards travel and accommodation expenses. What a great travel grant to go to such a spectacular setting for a meeting! Congratulations to Laura and KT on their research accomplishments that led to this terrific travel grant!
