Research Interests:
While my scientific training is in microbial ecology and my former research focused on the development and application of molecular phylogeny and diversity tools, my research now focuses in a much different area. Currently, I'm focused on training and fostering successful future scientists. In particular, I'm interested in the use of internet-based tools and collaborative learning groups to enhance my students’ critical thinking skills in science classes.
