UGA ASM Student Chapter

We work to achieve these goals through our monthly membership meetings, guest lectures, joint ventures with other scientific societies, research symposia, K-12 outreach activities, and, of course, social activities.

WHO WE ARE

We are primarily undergraduate and graduate students in microbiology and related sciences, but you don’t have to be a science major to be a part of our group. Many of us aspire for futures in health fields.  Others of us are working towards careers as research scientists, and some of us are investing in inspiring the next generation of microbiologists as educators.
