About the Award This award is provided by Dr. Aaron Mitchell and his wife Barbara to honor a Microbiology major undergraduate who displays outstanding effort and ability in research. Students who are graduating in the Spring, Summer, or Fall of the current year and have shown excellence in conducting, writing, and presenting their novel research are invited to apply. One letter of recommendation is required from either faculty or graduate student mentors to complete the application.
