  • MIBO 8120 Foundations of Microbiology (5 credits)
  • MIBO8150 (1 credit, repeated 8x)
  • MIBO8170 Student Seminar (1 credit, repeated 8x)
  • MIBO9000 PhD Research (Variable credits) or MIBO8900 if still rotating
  •  Electives: GRSC7770 (Dr. Walker’s section 53202) (1 credit)

Second year

  1. Have research proposal approved by advisory committee before the end of the first semester.
  2. Complete Written Exam and pass oral defense of it in Spring of year 2 (or before end of Fall year 3).
