Responsibilities: Peer learning Assistants are supported through the OSSA for a section of MIBO3500, and are required to attend all lectures. You will also need to register for the 1 credit UNIV 1204 pedagogy course, and attend a weekly meeting with the instructor. During class, your role will be to facilitate discussion among small groups of students during active learning components of the lecture, and be available to answer student questions that come up. Eligibility: To be a PLA for a Fall MIBO3500 course, you need to have completed MIBO3500 with a B or higher, and have a GPA of at least 3.25, be available to attend all lectures during the entire Fall semester. Selection: Your application will be reviewed by the PLA program first, followed by an interview. The instructor will rank PLA applicants and then the OSSA will assign each hired PLA to a course.
